About This Project
Floatex Solar Pvt. Ltd. and Vikram Solar Ltd. have partnered to launch a groundbreaking 33MW floating solar power project at the NTPC Kawas Power Plant reservoir in Gujarat. This project, a significant undertaking by the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), marks a milestone in the renewable energy sector.
This initiative represents a leap forward in leveraging renewable energy sources, utilizing eight equally sized blocks for an adequate distribution of solar panels. Each panel, capable of generating 540 wp, is anchored firmly in place by the Deadblock system, ensuring reliability under various conditions.
This project promises to boost the power supply in Gujrat significantly. Plus, it showcases an innovative approach to utilizing water bodies for energy generation without sacrificing valuable land, presenting a dual benefit of power generation and environmental conservation.
