About This Project

The Omkareshwar Floating Solar Park, located in Madhya Pradesh, India, represents a significant advancement in our journey towards sustainable energy. Developed under the guidance of RUMSL (a collaboration between SECI and MPUVNL) and supported by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), this project aims to establish a 600 MW solar energy facility on the Omkareshwar reservoir, divided into two phases.

Floatex Solar is proud to announce our collaboration with AMP Energy in the development of Unit E during the project's first phase. This unit is uniquely designed into 20 floating sections, each with a capacity to generate 5 MW AC (7 MW DC), significantly contributing to the project's capacity. Our involvement leverages Floatex Solar's expertise in floating solar technology, employing high-efficiency 545 wp solar panels and the innovative Deadblock anchoring system to ensure the durability and efficiency of the solar arrays.

With a combined capacity of 126 MW, the Omkareshwar Floating Solar Park is a testament to the power of collaboration in the renewable energy sector, marking a significant milestone in India's renewable energy initiatives. This project highlights our commitment to pioneering solar technologies and sets a new standard for future renewable energy projects worldwide.
